On Monday the 26th and Tuesday the 27th of Janurary we played two indoor hurling tournaments. On Monday we went to the Clomnel sports centre on the Cashel Road. There were four teams. They were Ballyneale, Mayglass, Grangemockler and Kilvemnon. The refree for the game was Brian White. The teacher in charge was Miss O' Connell. Each match lasted for seven minites and there was no half time. Each team was only allowed to have six players out at once. Some rules were like normal hurling matches and others were different like the ball will be in play at all times except if the ball hits the roof. You weren't even allowed to rise the ball. In the end Grangemockler won it.
All the teams got medals and the winners (Grangemockler) got a lovely trophy made from glass. The tournament was organised by Cumann na mBunscol especially for the 125th anniversary of the GAA.
Today we played another blitz in Mullinahone G.A.A. There were four teams again. There was Mullinahone NS, Paulacapple, Newtown Upper and Kilvemnon. The rules were pretty much the same. It was really hard. All teams did really well. We are all really happy that we played. Paulacapple won and we came second. All teams that played got sliotars. All the games went really well. Thanks to Liam O Dwyer and Johnnie Cummins for organising today's blitz.
