This Legionary is armed with the standard equipment given to all Roman soldiers at the time of the Empire. He is wearing a helmet with cheek guards, a shoulder strap or baldric guard, a sword in a scabbard, tunic made of wool, a groin guard, a segmented breastplate or cuirass, a shield and belts made of leather (but soldiers often decorated them)
