Mr. Sheehan came to visit us yesterday in Kilvemnon for our second History lesson on teh parish of Mullinahone. We looked at our Family Trees again and we have found out the names of our Grandparents, Great Grandparents and soem of us were even able to go as far as Great Great Grandparents.
We also talked about the meanings of place names in the area. Did you know that Boherboy means 'An Bothar Bui' (The Yellow Road) and is called this because when it rained teh water flowed yellow down the road?
