What is a seisometer?

A seisometer is a machine that you put on a volcano. It measures its sound so you know when it it going to erupt.Mt.Vesuvius has a seisometer. It needs one because there are over one and a half million people living in the "danger zone" in Pompeii. Volcanoes are either:active, extinct or dormat.
