Community Games Art

The Community Games Art

We are doing clay models for the community games art competition. My model is of some goal posts I will be painting them soon. I put lollipop sticks in the upright posts or else they would fall over. The cross bar is already sagging. Some people did

really cool ones Katie did a tennis racket, David did a trophy and

Naeema did a rugby pitch. Some people are doing pictures I will

probably but I'll see what is better my clay or my picture.

Community Games Art

We are doing art for a Community Games competition. We did clay and we are going to do pictures. You can enter either one. For my clay piece I did a rugby pitch. I got a slab of clay and drew the lines of the pitch on it then I did the goal posts. I put matchsticks in the goal post to keep it up but then I wasn’t happy with it so I mashed it up and started again. Now I have a rugby pitch with goals and a little rugby ball on the pitch. I am going to paint the grass green the goal posts white and the ball white and green.

Pancake Tuesday!! :)

Pancake Tuesday

Today is Pancake Tuesday!!! We made pancakes in school. All of sixth class got to cook them. The rest of the class made the mixture. Our recipe was 300grams of milk, 100grams of plain flour and 1 egg, that makes about two full sized pancakes. We had a variety of toppings, nutella, jam, honey, sugar, lemon and maple syrup. The most popular topping by far was the nutella chocolate spread. The least popular were the jam and honey. Then when everyone got a pancake we made some for all the staff. Then the best part PANCAKE TASTING!!!. Pancake tasting is where someone has to get blindfolded and someone else puts toppings on there pancake and the blindfolded person had to guess what's on it. There was some disgusting flavours like nutella, jam and lemon on one pancake. EWWWWW!

Pancake Tuesday

Pancake Tuesday

Today in school we made Pancakes. It was very fun. All of 6th class got to make them. All the children made the mix and then put it on the pan. We made Pancakes until first break. After break we played a game where someone was on a chair and they were blindfolded and someone else had to put toppings on a pancake and the person blindfolded had to guess what was on it. We all got to put whatever we wanted on it. Some of the people didn’t really like what was on the pancakes when we played the game. We had a really good day in school.

When I went home that evening I got to make my own pancakes all by myself. I put nutella on my pancakes, it’s my favourite topping!!!
